Our Policy

Vaccines:

The Detailed Dog, LLC requires proof of current vaccinations including Rabies. Though there won't be many, if any other dogs there when your pet has their apt, it is for the safety of the groomer as well. 

Cancellation/Late Arrival/No Show

All appointments will be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance. The Detailed Dog requires a 24 hour cancellation notice to ensure the spot can be filled. Failure to do so will result in a $20 cancellation fee to be paid upon the next scheduled appointment. 

We will give you a 15-20 minute heads up before your pet is ready. Please pick up within that time frame to ensure there is not an overlap of dogs at the salon. This is to ensure the stress free, one on one atmosphere that your pet deserves. We also do not have the space to hold dogs for long periods of time.

Please call us if you are running late for an appointment. Because this is a private one on one service, each scheduled time slot is kept just for you and your pet, so if you are more than 20 mins late, we may have to reschedule your appointment and charge a late fee which could equal up to half the cost of the dog’s service.

No shows cost us our time and money. Because we always confirm appointments, we may have to charge the full fee for the cost of the service. 

These policies will be given the first day of our meeting so you will surely be prepared. 

Right of Refusal

Because we are a one on one serviced shop, we have the right to refuse an aggressive or extremely stressed dog that may need the assistance of more than one person. Safety is always first for both pet and groomer.
